I live now over 4 years as an expat in Kathmandu, and I think this is so far the best restaurant experience I have restaurant is located inside the Marriott Hotel, and serves Asian food. Most dishes are Thai, Japanese or Chinese (dimsum), but... I would not call them "fusion" as they pretty much stick to their original flavors. Food is excellent. The starters were heavenly. The main dishes were a notch below, but the desert was again top. Service was perfect, and to room itself is very pleasantly decorated. This is what they call "fine dining" - and a far cry from what you get in 99% of the restaurants in Kathmandu. There are several vegetarian options (in their own right, and not just where they replace chicken by tofu, as is often the case elsewhere), and fish tastes very fresh. Most dishes cost around 1000 NRs each, so count around 3000 NRs per person if you have a starter, main, and dessert (excl drinks), although some items cost more. Well worth the money if you appreciate quality and/or for special occasions.
